MPL Project Artists!
The MPL Project are three extremely creative people. Separately, we have creative voices. Together, these voices are a force to be reckoned with. Releasing and unleashing this creativity feels so amazing for us. Working together as The MPL Project we hope to promote creative voices within every one. What is creativity?
It’s defined by Wikipedia as: “a mental and social process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts. Creativity is fueled by the process of either conscious or unconscious insight. An alternative conception of creativeness is that it is simply the act of making something new.” In a nutshell, our own unique way of expressing our interpretation of the world.
Since our interpretations are each different, so are our creative expressions. The MPL Project consists of three artists. Obviously we share some similar views and experiences. However, just by looking at the different types of art we all create, you can see how different we are.

Joanne Morton created The MPL Project to create, promote and share the ideas of Magic Passion Love. As an artist, she uses words, images and performance to access her Magic Passion Love. Joanne enjoys painting, writing and telling stories. Luckily she gets to paint, write and tell stories often – she has exhibits her art in solo/group shows and told stories in the East & West Village (even ventured to Brooklyn once!) as well as far south as Miami! Joanne has begun to offer reiki with a little magic passion love twist!. Through her personal spiritual work, Joanne has manifested her dream life and much more – she is committed to sharing the ideas of Magic Passion Love so others can also find ways to feel good and live their dreams, too! Paula Brett joined The MPL Project as Creative Director soon after she moved to NYC. Paula is an artist and performer who incorporates various combinations of art media to examine ideas such as created identity, coincidence, and transitory spaces. Her work has been exhibited around the US and internationally.
Recently she returned from living in Budapest and Moscow where she was busy with many projects including: founding and directing a community arts studio, lecturing for museums, starting the Calumet International Artist Residency, and teaching art in local schools and colleges. Paula has been studying and using the law of attraction, the power of intention and similar studies in her life for many years allowing her to manifest her dreams including the opportunity to share the ideas of Magic Passion Love! Florence Corrigan Wangjoined the MPL Project as a Creative Director in Spring of 2009. Florence is an artist/jewelry designer who works in beading, glass, wire and needlework – anything that involves flexing the finger muscles. In 2008 she started her own design company, Florence Wang Designs.
Her pieces are designed for the woman who is confident and enjoys expressing her own unique style. Everyone has an inner personal style that can be expressed! After meeting Joanne, she couldn’t wait to participate. Working in the MPL Projects she gets to encourage everyone to be creative and feel their Magic Passion Love!
